I just watched this video about sociopathy, which included an interview with a diagnosed sociopath (a woman too) and after doing so I think that the girl I hooked up with a little over a year ago might actually be a sociopath.

 

That wouldn't surprise me, glad you decided to steer clear of that one!

 

Though from what I've just read, people with bipolar can't be sociopaths, and if she is in fact a sociopath, then she is still technically mentally ill but also severely misdiagnosed.

I can’t keep up with all the diagnosis there are now.
I don’t think we need to put a label on everyone either.

I know plenty of people that have issues.
Some born with them, others developed them through out a traumatic life.

As for the girl, who knows.
Sometimes parting ways and wishing someone the best, is the “best” option.

Psychopaths and sociopaths are two totally different things; I didn't think there was a difference, but my cousin who is a psychologist told me otherwise. Believe it or not, sociopaths are more likely to be axe murderers and serial killers than psychopaths. Psychopaths are more likely to be functioning members of society than sociopaths, and can often be found in positions of power.

 

I would classify her as "bangable" to "somewhat attractive" at worst when she was like 19-22 years of age, but she let herself go and got fat. Then, I kicked her to the curb when I tired of her bullshit, and she's let herself go even further. She also has diabetes and has lost two toes as a result.
