    And then I found this dead fish that washed up on the beach; I have no idea what kind of fish it is, but it appears to have died or been killed at sea and then been picked over before it washed ashore...

    I've seen dead jellyfish on beaches before, but never this many in one area. Also, these jellyfish seemed very thick, and I thought that the first one looked like part of a large squid...
