I remember a time when kids only worried about flat bike tires and being home by dark.
I don't know how kids do it these days.

Seriously, I am (was) much too active to be a mod.
Plus, I don't always take a neutral stance on things.
So I am not sure I'd be the best candidate.

There's part of my 1973 year model that always wished I was born a little prior, so I could go to shows and clubs in the 80s. That said it was a pisser time to grow up living on my BMX bikes and having video games, though my parents weren't much for buying non essential things like a VCR. That said I definitely agree re being more the run before mine. 1990s weren't bad for me though most of the latter half was a haze as was the early 2 years of 2000s.

And we all heard that calculators would never be used in the real world so learn your times tables.

 

I missed recess for half of my 3rd grade year because of those damn times tables.


I used to be better at spelling, than math.
But auto-correct has dumbed me down.
I think I’m better at math than spelling now……
