I have $0 deductible for comprehensive and $100 for collision. $400 to replace my back window in 2022, and insurance covered all of it!

I am sad to say that all three baby birds died rather suddenly last week, and Amanda's landlady does not know what happened...

I found a 32" Samsung TV in someone's trash, and my plan was to give it to Amanda if it worked, and scrap the innards if it didn't work; I think y'all can figure out what the outcome was...

It's amazing what people scrap, and it is also amazing how people are too lazy to part out a vehicle with many good parts!

My girlfriend had this cheap Walkman that no longer works, so I ripped it open and yanked out the microchip...

The rubber grip on my camera lens stretched out due to years of use, I bought a new one for less than $13 online, and finally got around to putting it on. Here's the old one...

Luckily, I'm getting new tires and an alignment on Monday...

Anyway, last few days my truck has been riding like shit and I couldn't figure out why. It is vibrating at higher speeds and making a lot of noise; I also noticed that the ride improves and the vibrations are less pronounced when turning left and changing from the right to the left lane. Today, after getting home from the Pet Expo in Oaks, I checked out my front tires...

The inner edge of the tread on the left side is almost bald, but the rest of the tire is fine. The right tire is worn on the inner part as well, but nowhere near as bad as the left.

Both rear tires have normal wear and look fine. The tires have like 36K miles on them and I forget when they were replaced.

I know that I need an alignment, but I feel like the outer parts of the treads should be wearing if there is an alignment issue. This seems to have happened recently, and I primarily blame
    Pennsylvania's shitty roads.

The suspension and steering seem to be fine as well.

What does everybody think could be causing this?!?!

Simply I'd start with an unloaded ball joint and front end test. Then do alignment.

Make sure they check the ball joints properly. Lots of techs just jack the truck up on a hoist and wiggle, needs to be unloaded on a jack stand. Most proper front end guys understand this.

How much does it cost to replace ball joints?

That depends if you have a "guy" or not.

2nd gen you can replace ball joints by pressing in new ones, but most (me included) just change the whole control arm.

My region is a rust region so the eccentrics seize on the control arms, so they need to be changed anyway.

First start with inspection. Then see.

Beat me to it, was going to suggest just doing control arms too if the ball joints are shot.

Lower control arms were replaced when the frame was replaced...

Yup still got upper ball joints.

Also one big rule in automotive.

    New ≠ Good.

I never check history I just just check what I have.
