I don't mind so much not having the benefits, as I have health insurance through my dad (long story) and a 401(k) at the job I got laid off from that is still earning money; I did do, however, want full-time hours!

Post office you would get all that at least in time. THey might not give you 40 each week out of the chute though you would probably get it pretty fast.

I didn't go through with the test as at the time they couldn't give me a straight answer. They said "might be 20 one week and 60 the next week" which I would live with but I asked "are you saying it's guaranteed 80 per 2 weeks?" and they weren't sure.

The post office here is always hiring mail carriers.
The signs been in the window for about 3 years now.
Not sure what you have to do to be a carrier?
But going by the carriers we have, being in shape is NOT required.
They’ll literally drive as close as they can to the door, and set the box in the driveway.
Won’t walk 10’ to the door.

Closing the mail box door is 50/50.
That’s too hard too, I guess?

My mail lady drives an Impala, always know when the mail is coming as her exhaust system is falling off.

Does she have one of the RHD conversion kits? I saw a 2nd Gen RC Taco for sale that had been hastily converted for rural mail delivery. When we lived in Furlong from 2007 to 2016, one of the mail ladies would occasionally deliver the mail in her 1995-1996ish Chevy S-10 Blazer that had body panels from at least three different Blazers...

Nope, she sits in the middle and uses her left hand and foot to drive while reaching out the passenger side.

Perhaps I'm old fashioned but when the local PO was having a job fair something really stood out to me about the other applicants I saw.

There was a lady about mid 20s or so applying wearing tight yoga pants, a half shirt that she was falling out of, and flip flops talking to one of the two people running the show. The second person called me over and we were talking. About 3 minutes in a fellow about 30 something walks right up to us, interrupts me mid sentence and said "I'm here for the job, can I talk to you now?" to the lady I'm speaking with. He was wearing a ripped T shirt, ripped jeans, and old workboots..all of which were covered in dirt.

I am not a prude, nor did I wear a suit to the office back in the day. But the both of them seem to have dressed very inappropriately for a job interview in different ways, not to mention the second person being completely rude.

The tech at the Toyota dealership fucked up when my frame was being replaced, by using an impact gun when he should have been using a torque wrench. The bolt that holds the UCA in place went in kind of cockeyed, and over the course of just over two years, it turned the circular hole in the frame into an oval because the bolt was moving around. You can see in the pictures that the metal thing is all chewed up...

The passenger side is disassembled for replacement of the wheel bearing, but this is what the area should look like...

Not necessarily, because I called my trusted guy at the dealership and he asked for pictures; I will be very happy if Thompson paid for half of the welding job, because the whole underside of the truck in mint condition...

I'm confident that I'm gonna get something out of this, but even if I were to be offered a whole new frame, I'd refuse it; I do not want my truck ripped apart again. Do you think that the welding is the best course of action?

The metal thing in your first picture, just holds the nut.
    It serves no other purpose.

Did you get a picture of the actual hole in of the bad side, like you did on the passenger?

    Nut stop.

Joe works for Pete and is the one doing the work on my truck since he's the resident Toyota guy, and he will get pics tomorrow when he does the temporary fix and installs the new UCA...

So, I've got great news. The truck is totally fine. The UCA/bushing was so worn out that it emulated an issue with the aforementioned hole. Yes, the tech did use an impact gun when he probably should not have, but the frame is fine! The new UCAs have been installed...
