Depends on what you mean as far as capacity. While it's true you will lose 1 foot of bed length...you will gain the ability to carry up to 5 people in the cab.

Only you can determine what your needs are.

 

I can count the number of times I've had two passengers in my RC on one hand. An access cab is the most I need right now, and what it boils down to is money. Pretty sure the DCSB costs more than the AC.

 

If I was a young single fella with no kids, AC is what I would buy

 

If something were to happen to Emma, it means I don't have to feel guilty about buying a Third Gen. I was worried some of my buddies here on TW would think I was a sellout or a traitor or something!

This happened back in 2013...

Ethan Couch is a spoiled rich kid from the DFW area. He had just gotten his license, and one night got hammered with his friends, and made the stupid decision to go on a beer run in daddy's 2012 Ford F350...

At least one person died, several more were severely injured, and like half a dozen vehicles were totaled!

 

4 died 9 injured. He hit a group of people trying to push a stalled car off the road way

I can't remember if it was a stick shift or not, but I did take quick glance through the window and I can tell you that it did have A/C...
