    That doesn't fly around here.

Most servers/bartenders will straight up ask you not to come back.

I've seen it with my own eyes.
A friend of mine was asked not to come back to a Mexican food place we were at.

I was like dude, wth...you have to leave a REAL tip!

    Good work ain't cheap...

    Cheap work ain't good...

    Always tip your bartender!

One of my coworkers had a shirt that said that...

Anyway, even before I was in the bar business, I always tipped good. My dad always said to tip at least 20%, and even more if the service was particularly good...

Now that I'm in the service industry, there's an unwritten rule that you always take care of others in the business...

At any bar or restaurant besides your own, you overtip...

When you go to your own bar as a customer, you wayyy overtip!

    Case in point...

There used to be this guy named Gary working here. He was 3 years younger than me and started out as a barback, but like many others worked his way up to bartender...

One time left him such a large tip one draft beer that he actually tracked me down as I was about to leave for another bar with my boss and asked me I meant to leave him that much!

Also, I've had bartenders at my work actually tell me I didn't need to tip then because I had literally just finished my shift after spending an hour making lemon and lime juice for their bar...

This bumper magnet has been in pretty much the same spot on my tailgate since the summer of 2015, only taken off when I wash the truck...

I'm planning on getting the truck coated in ceramic or something (I forget what it's called). It's supposed permanently stave off the elements...

Not every single week (sadly I didn't notice the small print until today). I have other magnets on the tailgate that have been left on there for a few weeks at a time with no problem...

Before you apply a ceramic coating, to really do the job correctly, one must polish / correct the paint surface anyway. I'd have the folks who are going to apply the coating take a look at that spot and see what they can do first.

It'll be thoroughly washed and detailed before it is ceramic-coated by a professional detailer...

A soldier from my area who was killed in action while serving a tour of duty in Iraq about a decade ago. I forget whether he was Army or Marine Corps, but his family started a nonprofit charity organization in his name.

No! Use something much less aggressive to start with. Rubbing Compound is for serious correction work and should only be used by somebody with lots of experience.
