I don't drive drunk and thus have never gotten a DUI, but I managed to run over a cop while behind the wheel in this drunk driving simulator!

This was at a car show almost three years ago...

Actually, it never occurred to me until you asked me this question, but neither one of us was diagnosed until recently. So although we are both on the spectrum, neither one of us knew it when we met 23+ years ago.

No, she's not an aspie. Just on the spectrum. I guess that's why she "gets me." There is stuff that she does that drives me crazy, just as crazy as I drive her with my quirks. It's all about that compromise game. Do you want to be right? Or do you want to be happy?

A couple times I imitated exactly what my son did when he had a meltdown. That frustrated him so much, he rarely has a meltdown. He will cry when he doesn’t get what he wants. When he started slamming doors, I would open it as soon as he slammed it. When he would try to slam it again, I held it open and he couldn’t slam it.

 

My parents, specifically my mom, did that with me...

I ended up behind a flatbed hauling a Maserati for a couple blocks...

I am not entirely sure if the Maserati was illegally parked and got towed as a result (in Doylestown Borough, this would not surprise me; the area is full of affluent, entitled douches who think that the rules don't apply to them), or...

The Maserati had broken down and was being towed to the dealership for repairs (there is a Maserati dealership in Doylestown now)...

Either scenario could be possible!
