My primary computer is a 2015 MacBook Pro...

However, because my external hard drives were used with a PC at first, they won't work with the Mac unless I get them reprogrammed.

As such, I use my dad's 2014ish Toshiba laptop...

I need to get my HVAC training first and get a primary source of income...

Then maybe I'll look once again into becoming a firefighter!

That time in 11th grade when my math teacher flipped out at me for...

Wearing my iPod Shuffle around my neck!

My parents bought me my very first iPod for my 16th birthday in March 2005. This incident took place in like November of '05...

Obviously by November, school had been in session for two months. I had only been wearing my iPod around my neck since the first day of school! Prior to this incident in November, my math teacher had either not noticed that I was wearing it or simply not given a shit...

So I walk into class one day and my math teacher, who had normally been very nice and one of my favorite teachers, tells me I can't have my iPod out and to put it away. I ask her what the problem is since I'm not listening to music, and flat out tell her I will be leaving it around my neck because it's a $150 iPod and putting it my pocket or backpack will increase the likelihood of it getting lost...

Keep in mind that the original iPod Shuffle was just a fancy thumb drive with a detachable lanyard!

The way I remember it, I was actually sitting at my desk and doing my work when she confronted me, which makes the whole situation even more galling!

She met me halfway and sympathized about me not wanting to lose a $150 gift from my parents, and told me just to tuck it under my shirt...

I'd done this before and didn't like the feeling of an iPod against my bare skin. I was also so annoyed at her for being such a bitch over such petty bullshit that I wasn't about to do anything she told me to do short of evacuating the building due to a fire drill!

If I remember correctly, she kicked me out for the remainder of class, but I faced no disciplinary action.

I continued to wear that iPod Shuffle around my neck in math class, and my teacher seemingly went back to not noticing or not giving a shit...

 

Two days ago, it was in the fucking 70s!

I understand that it is February and thus still winter, but Mother Nature needs to stop having hot flashes already!

This constant change from spring to winter to fall to summer is really annoying!

 

Two days ago, two days in a row, I was wearing shorts!
