454 will go down as one of the most iconic motors in history

 

Just make you do an EFI conversion on 454s in 1987-1995 trucks, though!

 

Just take a 454 stroke it to 468 throw Holley dominator EFI and be good to go

 

Would imagine the 454 held its reign in the torque curve moreso than the horsepower curve.

Big blocks are not really what you’d call rocket ships. Heavy, powerful.. for sure. The fastest car off the line? Nah. But they’ll pull a lot harder.

 

454 with granny 4spd will yank a cotton gin down

My teacher's late husband had an '85 Chevy regular cab dually that was originally a 454/4-speed granny, but the engine blew and he dropped a 350 in there...

 

He will be 9 in August

The factory radio is good enough plus my son is sensitive to loud noises.

 

Had a 64 Chevelle with a bored 454, 12.5 to 1 pistons, L88 spec cam 450HP at rear wheels. I could lay two steaks of rubber for 250+ feet

I don't think he will ever drive. He is very smart but many of his mannerisms is that of a 2 or 3 year old. In the last couple months, his speaking has improved very rapidly.

The wiper switch was the first mod. I posted some pictures in the intermittent wiper thread. Later, I saw the same pictures used by some Toyota dealer selling switches on Ebay.

Saw this old Mazda3 (hard to believe a Mazda3 could ever be considered "old," but the model was first released almost 15 years ago!). It was beaten to hell and had the most random emblems on it...
