So, my boss's neighbor is detailing my dad's 2013 Honda Pilot tomorrow, and my Tacoma is going to my dad's mechanic to have the A/C issue assessed and diagnosed. My dad happens to work within walking distance of his mechanic...

So, I'm taking the Pilot to work tomorrow and my dad is taking the Taco!

I'm driving the ol' Taco out to the Lancaster area this Saturday for a 4x4 mud bog event at Buck Motorsports Park, but not before stopping for a late lunch at the Tobias S. Frogg restaurant; This is about a 2-hour drive one-way, and while it's only gonna be in the 60s this Saturday, I want to nip the A/C issue in the bud before it gets really warm!

Buck Motorsports Park is in Lancaster County, but located about 25 minutes from Lancaster itself in the Borough of Quarryville. Tobias S. Frogg is located in Lancaster...

As the name of the aforementioned restaurant implies, they have frog legs on the menu. I'm feeling adventurous, so I'm going to try some!

 

I’ve never had any, but I don’t feel too much of an urge to try either

 

I wasn't sure I'd like soft-shell crab either, because the crab is cooked whole (guts and all). I tried it for the first time during a family vacation to New Orleans back in July 2012, and I was wrong!

Plasti-Dip may not be a mod, but it still looks pretty damn good if used correctly!

 

Lemme know what the cost is on the A/C diag. I am tired of fucking with mine and taking it in to be repaired.

 

My dad's mechanic couldn't find a noticeable leak. He charged the system and added a tracer dye; It was a wee bit cool outside, but the A/C definitely seemed to be blowing colder out of that far right vent. I also had a full transmission flush and fluid replacement, which was quite pricey. The total bill was about $400, and I believe the A/C work was like $125-$130.
