I really don't either, but buying to keep yourself out of trouble during spring break was noble...

I don't even have 4WD and my truck does surprisingly good in the snow, especially with the Michelins!

Everyone's heard the phrase "Sex, drugs, rock 'n' roll"...

Meat Loaf put a clever spin on it in his hit song, I Would Do Anything For Love, with following line:

"Some days I pray for silence,
Some days I pray for soul,
Some days I just pray to the God of sex and drums and rock 'n' roll"

Here's a story of unintentional flatulence humor...

As many people on TW know, my dad is a retired Navy veteran who now works for a defense contractor that builds drones.

While at a hangar in New Jersey with some coworkers for work-related business fairly recently, my dad wasn't watching where he was going and stepped on a frog. Apparently, it had been raining, and a few frogs came into the hangar.

My dad did not notice the frog until he heard some weird noises and felt something solid under his shoe.

This is the real world, and not Frogger, so a frog is not going to survive an encounter with a shoe. This especially true if the shoe is on the foot of a 200-pound, 6-foot tall man! One can only hope the frog died instantly and did not suffer...

So my dad goes into the office with his friends and says "Hey guys, I just stepped on a frog!"

We all know what it typically means when someone says they "stepped on a frog," or "stepped on a duck."

My dad's coworkers all backed away from him and were like "Why would you do that?!?!" and "Don't do that in here!" My dad is like "No, I mean I actually stepped on a frog. Come out and take a look if you don't believe me!"

Yes, this is a true story!

Do you think either of your kids are going to get drive one day?

All but one of my closest friends on the spectrum have driver's licenses, and in that group of licensed Aspies (me included) only one still doesn't have his own vehicle and drives a car owned by his parents. The one friend who does not have a license finally just recently got his learner's permit. I gave him his first driving lesson in my Tacoma in the DMV parking lot a few weeks ago, and his parents have been teaching him in his mom's '09 Chevy Cobalt.

Not sure. Depends on how motivated they are about it. Besides, will they need to learn to drive by then?
