    From yesterday...

    Two A/C units at a former duplex (built in 1871) that has been converted into a single-family home. The central air for both units was installed when the place was still a duplex, so instead of having one for the 1st floor/basement and one for the 2nd floor, it has one for each side...

    This Carrier TECH2000 has been here since the 1990s...

    This Carrier replaced a 1980s York Stellar Series in about 2015 (this half of the duplex probably got central air first, since the original unit was at least 25 years old...

    These are both straight-cool units, not heat pumps, and the house has gas heat.

    I think it just uses some older MB architecture in the platform. It was more Chrysler utilizing MB DNA than MB designing it

    Through a not-so-bizarre series of events I ended up chatting with the owner of that particular Pacifica...

    It has almost 200K miles on it and shows no signs of slowing down! The owner is trying to make it last until her daughter finishes grad school...
