I didn't say they were bad vehicles; They just don't hold their value! I rarely see Isuzu products around anymore! The valet guy at my work has an Isuzu Ascender. Do you know what that is?

There's a country song called "Little Red Rodeo," two different versions sung by Collin Raye and Phil Vassar, respectively...

    @Jamesboy2233

"The note said 'you've had time to think about it
Looks like to me you're feelin' kinda crowded
You're not lookin' for anything permanent here
So my Rodeo's packed and in goodbye gear'

So I shot down to the Longhorn Diner
Her sister works there and she'd know where to find her
She said, you didn't hear it from me
All I'll say is mama's got that place out in Monterrey

Oh, how fast can I go, gotta catch that little red Rodeo
She drove off with my heart, I've gotta let her know
I need the girl in that little red Rodeo
Texas plates, candy apple red Rodeo

Two towns back I showed your photograph
And the gas station man just started to laugh
She said I might see you in this bucket of rust
And said good luck boy, just follow that cloud of dust

Oh, how fast can I go, gotta catch that little red Rodeo
She drove off with my heart, I've gotta let her know
I need the girl in that little red Rodeo
Texas plates, candy apple red Rodeo

Maybe I was straddling the fence just like she said
It took her leaving to get it through my head

She's the one and only, it's over, that's it
I'm committed, I'm in love and I'm desperate
She's a good ways gone but I'm closin' the gap
If I have to I'll chase her clear across the map

Oh, how fast can I go, gotta catch that little red Rodeo
She drove off with my heart, I've gotta let her know
I need the girl in that little red Rodeo
Texas plates, candy apple red Rodeo"

No, I am asking if it has a limited-slip diff. Don't try doing a burnout. You might break something!

My best friend and fellow Aspie, Mike, finally got his learner's permit, and his parents are giving him their 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt as a first car! The Cobalt has a basic AM/FM CD player with an AUX input, and my friend really wants a head unit with a USB port. I've known Mike for the better part of a decade, and he's been a good friend, so I've rallied the troops (our other friends). We're all going to chip in and buy a new Pioneer head unit for Mike's car! My neighbor, who installed the stereo in my Tacoma, has agreed to help install the head unit in Mike's Cobalt!

CLICK HERE to see the head unit I plan on buying!

    Arnold's Grandpa drove a 1946 Packard Clipper...

From one of the last episodes of the original series (circa 2002-2004):

From the 2017 Jungle Movie (That's Arnold's Grandma driving, and apparently she doesn't have a driver's license!):

The series took place in the late 1990s, but the creator of the series and the producers had a thing for old cars and trucks...

My dad was moving my truck while it was dark out, and I had the parking brake on. My dad hadn't driven my truck in a while and assumed the parking brake had a "pull handle" to release it...

    o_O

Long story short, he broke the little storage drawer and now it won't shut all the way...

My dad stretched the spring-loaded mechanism, which is preventing the drawer from shutting all the way...

    image.jpg image.jpg

As I was typing this out, I fixed the problem myself by flexing the clips a little bit.

Like many obscure Tacoma parts, these clips cannot be purchased separately and must be purchased with the drawer.

Price at Thompson Toyota...? About $250!

Price at a Toyota parts warehouse in Kansas, for what appears to be the same damn part...? Under $30!

I'd like to think it was a mistake, but considering this same dealer tried to charge me about $1,600 for a brake job last March, I'm not holding my breath...

Also, all auto tranny 2nd Gen owners know that the parking brake is push on/push off...
