One of my coworkers wants to buy a Taco! Specifically it's a used 2017 DCSB TRD OR, in Inferno. About 12K miles and they want like $35K for it.

When you call Uber and they show up, they're not going to let you drive their car. Same here, I'd do the driving, I'd secure the load, they might have to help load and unload, and if it wasn't safe I wouldn't do it. Still think it could work.

 

Meh. I use Uber all the time. Refuse to take an Uber X because of the shitboxes... Uber black and black XL, usually gets me a towncar or a Yukon XL Denali or suburban LTZ.


Would literally never drive for Uber. Ever. My buddy’s girlfriend puked in one once, and for that reason alone... hell no.

Back in 2009-2010 when I was going to the Coffeehouse Center of Bucks County, which as I've said before is a club of sorts for young adult Aspies, there were some pretty annoying member...

I will not be divulging names for privacy reasons, but I will tell you about this one kid who was maybe a year older than me. He had fiery red hair and was rather plump around the middle. I was formally accepted into the group in January 2009, and the redhead came along a couple of months later. Social awkwardness is a common trait of AS, but this kid was really socially awkward!

His grandfather has my respect, however. Grandpa was a Vietnam vet if I remember correctly, and had he had to have a lung removed at some point for reasons I can't remember. He drove a loaded '98 Ford F-150 XLT regular cab short bed that he specially ordered new. In 11 years, he'd put over 200K on it. He would drive his grandson all the way up from Lower Bucks (a good 1-hour drive ONE WAY), sit in his truck in the parking lot and read a book for 3 hours, and then drive him an hour back. His grandpa really loved him...

 

Unlike a lot of the Aspies at the Coffeehouse, the redhead had a job. He worked at a factory of some sort, on an assembly line, though I don't know what this factory produced.

The redhead is one of those Aspies who is the exact opposite of everything I desire to be. He did not drive, and his Grandpa didn't think he ever would. He also did not go to college and probably would not be moving out in his own anytime soon.

One of the redhead's most memorable (and annoying) habits was that upon arriving at the Coffeehouse, he would walk up to each present member and say hello.

"Hi Charlie!"

-Walks over to another member-

"Hi John!"

-Walks over to another member-

"Hi Mike!"

-Walks over to another member-

"Hi So-and-so!"

You get the idea...

This would repeat until he'd said hi to everyone present!



It also did not help that he spoke in this obnoxious nasally voice.

 

Parked on Ashland by Burpee Park on Menorial Day by a pump that seemed like it ran for 5 hours.
