    This massive beach house has three central air-conditioners, and the condenser fan in one of them does not seem to be operating!

    There is no point is switching to a full synthetic oil if you are not:
    1. Increasing oil change intervals to 10,000 miles
    Or
    2. Live in extreme climates (typically extreme cold)
    Or
    3. Have high performance engine modifications.

    If you live in a normal climate, have a stock engine, and will continue to change the oil every 5,000 miles there is no benefit to switching to synthetic. You just end up throwing away money.
