    @ALI3N_123

    White is the most popular color, however. The Auto Zone closest to me (Warminster) has been out of the white ones like two out of the three times I've been there. I had to go to the one in Feasterville-Trevose the one time...

    Quite a drive compared to the one in Warminster!

    Lol, just buy them on Amazon, or ebay. You can probably get 2-3 pens for a cheaper bulk price.

    There's a stairway light at work that's always going out, and not because the lightbulbs are burning out...

    The light is about 12 years old, and has been through more than a decade of frigid Pennsylvania winters and and brutal summers. It just goes out from time to time and you have to play with it.

    Months ago, it actually did burn out and I put one of those dinky Edison-style bulbs in it because that's all I had on such short notice. About a week ago, the light went out but I couldn't get into it because it requires a special hex wrench. I finally got it open today, put a more powerful bulb in, and replaced the hex screws with Phillips screws for easier access in the future!

    Another one of the stairway lights, with the original hex screws...

    I was not expecting to hit 85K until tomorrow morning, but my boss sent me on an unexpected errand!

    image.jpg

    Also, not too long ago, I made a comment on my Aspergers thread about how I was officially less than 14,500 miles from hitting 100K. That was a case of cerebral flatulence on my part, because my truck was less than 15,500 miles from hitting 100K!

    :facepalm:

    My '09 howled like crazy. It was related to the door flaps inside the HVAC box. There was a TSB for one or more of the flaps around this time pertaining to the flaps coming unglued (bad glue). The door flaps inside the HVAC are thin foam pieces that are just glued to the flat plastic diverter doors. Their purpose seems to be to increase sealing when the flaps change their mode position to minimize cold/hot air mixing for example. But these can also create howling like noises if air passes by their edges or they become loose or deformed. The only fix is to tear apart the dash and the HVAC box and replace the flaps. Not fun.

    When I bought my fiancé her Range Rover evoque. The first day she was complaining about a high pitched whistling noise. Turns out her window was open slightly causing the noise.

    Been pretty damn good. No real complaints. Could use a rear ac unit but other than that it’s a good comfortable SUV

    @Plain Jane Taco

    I was stuck in traffic on Court Street for longer than usual, and I noticed this guy in a late model Hyundai behind me taking a picture of the back of my truck with his phone...

    Wouldn't be the first time somebody loved my "Kessel Run" magnet so much that they took a picture!

    Mine whistles if you don't have recirculation on and you have to be running at least 65. I guess this is because the air is coming from outside and the air has to be forced by the damper at a certain speed for it to whistle. Reach over and turn on the recirculation, it changes the damper position, starts drawing air from the cabin, and whistle goes away. Or simply slow down to 60 or below and no whistle.

    Mine was whistling and whining and this turned out to be the problem...Snapchat-1624012048.jpg
    It got sucked into the fan under it and the blades were hitting the material and causing the noise.

    I don't think I am going to be coming back to Maple Grove Raceway next year...

    $20 admission, and when I used my credit card so I'd have more cash for later, I had to show my ID...

    For a $20 car show ticket!

    Fuckin' ridiculous!
