Not that I know off but I did have a dude suffer from bipolar disorder and attempted suicide more then once he got kicked out which I’m glad he got kicked out cause he was a turd. The Marine Corps is pretty good at weeding people out in the early stages of training.

Just service rivalry but I just legitmently don’t like the army. They almost killed me with a negligent discharge of a 50cal machine gun.

Yes the they shot through a wall in a house I was in. Was sitting their talking to my friend and boom all of a sudden there was a whole in the wall to my right side

 

I believe firmly in the saying "If you can't behind our troops, then stand in front of them," regardless of the branch...

However, I do find it amusing to make fun of the Chair Force...uh, I mean the Air Force!

My friend Doug is a former Marine with 4 years, and he first introduced me to the term "Chair Force", LOL!

 

Just glad when people serve. But the marine infantry will talk shit on just about everyone because our job sucks the most.

 

The primary role of a Marine is rifleman, correct? Also, my cousin who's a history buff said that Marines acted as security on Navy ships and were tasked with detaining sailors when they got out of line?

 

Marines where originally the landing force for the navy back in the day and now a days our motto is land, air, and sea. Every marine is a trained rifleman(although they aren’t all infantry, we call those marines pog’s Personal Other then Grunt). We are still a department of the Navy and receive about 3% of their budget. We also are a direct arm of the president he or she can deploy us anywhere with out congresses approval. What was your scariest experience while you were deployed in the Middle East?
