I just bought my first “new” vehicle. Hopefully Toyota doesn’t buy into that...

Trucks aren't as bad as cars, and Toyota isn't as bad as most in my opinion...

I got a spare key from some cheezy dude on Craigslist for $40. Doesn't have a Toyota emblem, but it works for the doors, and ignition.

Damn man, I feel for you. I remember when I got hit in my 2001 Tundra. My dad was getting some work done to the truck before he gave it to me, got painted and new leather interior, then I got hit like a month later. Also, my brother's wife got by a drunk driver 2 weeks ago. WITH MY NEPHEWS INSIDE. Thank God they're all ok.

    Tundy totaled?

If that guy had totaled my truck, it would have been hard for me not to total him...

Luckily, he not only got a DUI but totaled his car!

We haven't even discussed whether 33s will fit or whether beadlocks are street legal yet

So put the entire metal section in a bench vise between two pieces of hardwood and straighten it back out. :notsure:

I've had bent keys in the past; if they rattle around in your pocket it's not hard to do. They've always bent back no problem in the vise.

My buddy used a flathead screwdriver or a pair of fingernail clippers to start his 1994 Mazda b3000 for a few years. Never had an issue. He stabbed a hole in the bench seat to keep the screwdriver so he’d never lose it
