I am at dive bar in Levittown watching my friend's band perform, and the only detail aside from my friend that's keeping me here is the friendly staff...

This place allows smoking INSIDE, is cash only, and does not serve food (though to be fair the Little Caesar's next door was open and I was allowed to bring a large pizza into the bar). There is also a "Happy Ending" Asian massage parlor one building over...

Translation: I only come to these types of places out of loyalty to my friend and his band, and to see my other friends who are doing the same thing!

I recently went on a rant about how an ex-friend of mine said there's no way my truck is worth $9,000 (even though Blue Book clearly says it's worth that, and the unwritten rules of Tacomanomics say it's probably worth more). She said it couldn't be worth more than $5,000-$6,000. I told her she was full of shit. My friend Dave saw our back-and-forth on Facebook, and I am with him at my other friend's gig right now. He asked if this friend of mine was retarded!

Keep in mind that Dave is a lifelong Ford guy and routinely busts my balls for driving a Toyota. However, even Dave agrees that my truck is worth what KBB says it's worth!

Also, none of the accidents were serious and there was no airbag deployment.

 

While that may be the case....try trading it or selling it with full disclosure (as required by most states) and you'll quickly realize the effect it has on value. And any accident that involved insurance and/or dealer repairs will show up on CarFax.

 

Someone on TW said they'd pay $10K for it, knowing full well that it had been in a couple accident.

I wish I could sue that drunk asshole for diminished value!
