No the burnt out parking light will not warrant a LEO to pull you over. I don’t think most LEO can tell that it’s even supposed to be on. Happy holidays.

Also, people have mistaken my posts for trolling in the past because I (A) have Aspergers Syndrome and (B) write in a very detailed manner.

 

I wouldn't have to "glue that shit" if someone had called a cab instead of driving; It angers me because this was caused by someone else's stupid decision.

 

The more details and less questions that need to be asked the better, so don’t sweat it!

 

The incident was 3 years ago. Why didn't you glue it then?

There's no way you would ever get a ticket for that light, it's not a required light for night time driving. Same thing goes for the fog lights

 

Although there's probably no law that says you have to have parking lights, there are laws that say you have to have side marker lights, and that light also serves that purpose. However it would take a very bored cop to even attempt to write a ticket for a burned out side marker light. However, it's only a 2 minute job to change it and that includes pulling the hood release and opening the hood.

 

Both mine burned out and I never replaced them... They look dumb in my opinion, and do pretty well nothing anyway

OP here is a pic of the backside of the headlight and I've circled where the side marker bulb is located. All you have to do is twist to remove it, swap in a new bulb, and twist back in securely.

 

TECHNICALLY, you can be harassed over it. More likely however, cop would pull you over just to *inform* you about it. Unless you're DWB in a redneck town, cops don't typically go out of their way to make you hate them. And for that matter, even a "fix it" ticket will be more trouble to cops than its worth to them since there is NO REVENUE generated from it.

Having said all that, fix the damned thing at your earliest opportunity.

 

Mixing tires is downright dumb.

 

Because I thought it was fixed then...

 

I might actually hit 90K before Thanksgiving!
