In the Spring I have way too many things to list going on. All new front and rear Kings, Delta Joint UCA's, front and rear extended brake lines, complete Yankima Roof Rack, Relentless Lower Winch Mount, not sure what else. But these Cooper ST Pro's next weekend in 255/75/17

My '03 F250 V10 has 190k miles and the only thing mechanical that's been replaced is the alternator. Engine and transmission are bone dry on the outside, and burns about a quart of oil every 5k. Almost any vehicle will last a long time if properly maintained.

Unfortunately I have not formed much of an attachment to my 09 Tacoma. Bought it in 2011 from a Toyota dealership and it was Toyota corporate owned and had 19k miles on it and now it has 27k. I’ve put thousands in suspension, sliders, wheels/tires ect. I just don’t drive it much but was putting together something that I thought I’d use to start traveling and seeing the country. Hasn’t happened yet and I find more enjoyment driving my old diesel dodge. I guess I just feel like I don’t have to worry about it. I’ve been thinking long and hard about selling the Tacoma but the price would have to be right. Haven’t gotten to the point to advertise it for sale yet.

I am not going to read all of this. Soooooo, our Toyota's will last as long as you want them too. When something breaks, replace it, blows up, rebuild it, and try not to wreak or roll it. I honestly think my truck will out live me and I use it like a truck. Good luck to all of you.

It would be illegal (federal law) for an odometer to go back to 1. Auto manufacturers are no longer allowed to do that.

The computer will still maintain the mileage on the vehicle but the odometer reading would stop at 999,999

The wear and tear along with increased maintenance, fuel, insurance, etc..to Uber would not make it worthwhile. You are better off working as a waiter or save for a beater car and deliver pizza. If i did have to choose a delivery job, I probably would be an Amazon delivery driver.

But apparently the computer also stops at 999,999. that's the part I don't understand, why on Earth does the computer have a 6-digit limit and turn away? It should basically have a near-infinite limit. Up to it's interger limit which should be much higher than we need haha

One of the dealership techs, a very laid back one, actually told me that the trucks, specifically the second gens with the V6, are built to go at least 450,000. I was honestly kind of surprised that they would say something like that so maybe it's true?

My goal is at least 400,000 miles.

Honestly there's no reason to vehicle couldn't go on forever as long as you maintain it, the only major thing I can really see that would probably be way too much will be like piston rings wearing out, but I've heard that this is apparently very very very uncommon even a high mileages. Tranny should last as well as long as you keep it from overheating and change the fluid at a decent interval.
