Nope. I can, she can’t. But she will learn in case of an emergency. I didn’t really know how many people couldn’t drive stick till I went to the marine corps

Well those darn things called technological advancements sure get in the way. I really preferred not to have body armor, night vision, and that pain in the ass automatic transmission

I believe I will be hitting 92,000 miles on or before February 2nd, 2019! It will be time for my truck's first oil change in about 8,000 miles and more than six months!

This is something that still causes me to laugh...

I was in 4th grade during the 1998-1999 school year. My teacher was a woman in her late twenties named Mrs. Hudak.

There was a kid named James in our class who was kind of a wiseass.

One time, Mrs. Hudak let us pick the words for our weekly English lesson (which included a test at the end of week where we had to spell the words correctly).

James raised his hand, and Mrs. Hudak called on him and asked him what his word was. James said "Fart?"

If I remember correctly, the whole class was stifling their laughter but did not actually erupt into laughter like you'd expect.

Mrs. Hudak said "Get out. Now."

James did as he was told and left the class. This was over 20 years ago (sometime in late 1998), so I don't remember exactly what happened, but I don't think James got a detention or anything...

@Plain Jane TacoIf there's one thing I couldn't stand in grade school, it was music class!

I love music. That goes without saying. I work at a bar that was purpose-built as a music venue, and my Tacoma has a high-powered sound system in it.
I've considered learning how to play an instrument, but I've continually put it off...

Why did I hate music class? Because in all the schools I went to, it was focused more on reading and writing than on music!

I attended 4th and 5th grade at Christopher Farms Elementary School in Virginia Beach. The music teacher there was this older middle-aged black lady named Mrs. Johnson. She wasn't mean or nasty, but I never really cared for her much.

We never learned to play any instruments. The entire class consisted of us sitting in chairs that were arranged in a circle, either reading out of a textbook or singing songs out of a textbook.

In 5th grade, things got even worse.

Every month, we had to write a report about a composer. The first one was Mozart. We also did reports on Beethoven and Bach, among others. We did get to choose who we wrote about one time, on the condition that it was a female singer. No problem; I chose Bonnie Raitt.

In 6th grade, I got along so poorly with the music teacher that my case manager pulled some strings to get me out of the class before the end of the year!

This is what everyone is like in my Physics class. The teacher is really nice, and the assholes treat her like shit. I'm very pissed, because one of those retards is closely related to the principal.

I was a very shitty student in school up till college. Loved music classes. I play a lot of instruments and it only takes me a few days to learn the basics of a new one. I was actually bummed when I could put be in the orchestra in high school because I played so many sports.

The reason being is my brother was two grades ahead and my sister was one. I use to read their text books and stuff so I was always ahead so I didn’t have to really pay attention. I knew the info I just refused to homework
