Increase the offset, maybe some lexus wheels.

 

Extra 15mm is I think the most OEM offset you can get

 

You can swap in Tundra brakes. They have more surface area and do help alot, plenty of YouTube videos

 

The cheapest way to plan a swap is to have a donor truck with all the parts you are going to need .
There are just as many issues with the manual transmission as there are with the auto .
I am an old pro at the swap thing ... Dont waste your hard earned money $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Now , if you are considering making your truck a 4x4 at the same time you swap to a manual , its still going to be expensive but worthwhile if you do it correctly

Positraction is a brand of mechanical limited slip, and yes lots of toyotas came with limited slips. 2005-2008 TRD sport tacomas for instance.

Dunno. I have both a 8.0 and 8.4 stock 3rd with 3.73 gears

Yup, drove tow trucks for 22yrs. How many gears and do you have a splitter?

 

I learned how to drive stick in my uncle's '91 Toyota pickup at the age of 25. Now I detail cars for a huge dealership and I'd say I get a few stick shift vehicles a month.

 

That's good you can drive stick. So many people cant.
