    Mercedes and Audi are the best European cars in terms of luxury and reliability. BMW seems like a "mutt" car as my dad calls them lol.

    The depreciation value has nothing to do with their reliability. I can't remember the last time I saw a Benz stalled anywhere on the roads. Seen quite a few Beamers though.

    I know it has nothing to do with, but I would NEVER buy a Benz new for this reason.

    One of my coworkers drives a 2010 BMW 3-series sedan with a like 80K-83K miles on its and the car has been great. He bought it used after he totaled his Hyundai (not his fault).
