First off Happy Thanksgiving y’all, secondly is anyone here running LED License Plate Lights? I’m alittle on the fence about them and was curious to know what or if everyone else runs them.

 

You mean led bulbs in the factory light sockets?

Just when you thought we were insane for running into burning buildings... we continued the traditional annual department vs department football game.

Even managed to get a touch down, unfortunately we lost. Second time in 10years of playing verse Northampton.


Currently home after dinner down the city with el Broseph and his family, even got to meet my newest little niece.


Finally home relaxing, and iceing the knee.

If it makes ya feel any better our pre Halloween parade soccer game is always a blast. Never knew another company wanted to beat us so bad.. haha, hope the knee isn’t so sore tomorrow morning!

 

I used to run LEDs, but... First off, they were bit too bright, and created a little too much glare in rear view camera. Secondly, ones I had (have to look up brand) they started flickering after a few months. Pass side first, when driver side started the same (a few months later) I replaced them for regular bulbs.
You might have better luck with flickering, but glare is quite annoying if you care for reverse camera.

Edit. They were Yorkim 194 LED, got them on Amazon. The ones I installed in map lights have no issues so I guess they don't like to be outside too much ... Lol

We usually have a good time, we've played in snow, mud, rain, cold, hell the field was an ice rink the one year, we've only lost twice, so we weren't terribly heart broken. We also didn't have any subs this year so that kinda played a role. It always cracks me up how competitive some of our guys get. Our one QB was kicking himself for a few interceptions early on and then mis placed throws that were intended for me. But it was all good, we'll get that ridiculous trophy back next year.

 

I had the exact same results,with flickering. No back up camara, so can’t verify.

 

HAaaaa... I did, for almost 3 weeks. Let me tell ya, there have been some noticeable changes since that stupid organ was removed. For one, my energy is back up, as is my body temp. I'm not getting as cold as quickly any more. Also. I don't sit still very well for long amounts of time.

I would have to agree though, bringing that trophy no matter how rediculous looking back to the station on the truck is one of the best feelings ever.

 

True story, where are you out of?

 

I used to be out of Sassamansville(68) and Upper Pottsgrove(79). Both very small Montco stations. Joined the day I turned 16 and ran until I was 20(diagnosed with PTSD/Anxiety). But I did take my FF1 out of bucks fire school down in doylestown.

 

Hmmm I know someone who is an instructor at that school.

 

Sebastian I used these in my backups bright as hell 2 years now no problems /backup cam a little bright, but when using mirrors grate!
