What did you get? Matthews, Hoyt, Bowtech? I like the stats on that bow. Is it adjustable?

Last summer I said I was going to get a new bow this year, then I found TW. :spending:

Daniel I am always in the same position. With the hills and valleys the wind swirls too much to play the wind. I just get as scent free as possible and get up as high as I can. I want to get into ground hunting again, but will probably keep that for the flintlock.

I live in the most hunted per capita WMU, and have plenty of the blue army around. There are plenty of deer, but they are educated to human activity. That is why I typically hunt 2-3 miles back in. Not much competition.

Where is that, since you are from Pittsburgh? I know there is some really great hunting around the city if you know people to get access. They a basically pets in parts, but that doesn't appeal to me. I like the challenge of hunting a wise old buck. They have gotten the best of me so far, but I have had them into about 100 yards. I usually settle for a decent 2.5 year old towards the end of archery. I am changing my hunting from a meat perspective to more of a sport this coming year though. I'll try to get a doe early for meat, then focus on a big mature buck. I've been on one in each of my hunting spots for a few years.

I haven't heard of them, but might be worth looking into. I've been interested in bowtech and prime for a couple of years. I know the others are good as well, but starting at $1,000+ isn't for me.

They’re from up north, like. Waaaaay north. ...eh?

I don’t remember what I started at, but it’s a helluva deal, free shipping, got my sight for free (was $90.00+) discounted starting rate. By the time I built that bow how I wanted it, $1,194.20. (I may or may not have done some customizing.)

Originally looked at a different bow, ultimately decided on the Mamba, because it had a few more things on it that just tipped the scale. And. These guys where the first ones (second to last archery booth I came to that day) to aknowledge me, offer to answer questions and “blow up my day”. Safe to say they did.

I’ll likely post a video to my insta when it comes in

I've always said the gamelands near there looked to be pretty good hunting, but too close to 80/79. If you aren't lazy I am sure there is a lot of really good hunting there. I'm originally from Oil City so rt 8 especially. I don't remember the amish being bad there. It is an epidemic here right now. They bought out next to one of my properties, and also every property surrounding the gamelands I frequent. I used to want property here, but now I'm glad I couldn't afford it. I have to fight to keep them off clearly posted property. Most are nice, but have no respect for anyone or their property.

I've been scouring the internet all afternoon. Does anyone have a 12-15 safari snorkel? I'm looking for replacement parts or more specifically part numbers. I diagram with parts and numbers would be ideal. TIA for any responses
