The Maxx’s will get loud as they wear, the tread is deep so you should be able to run em for quite a number of miles but once you get into the harder part of the tire they will sing on the highway.

They’re good for 45k supposedly. I’ve had mine for about 15k and still plenty of tread

I switched out my fog light bulbs a couple weeks back for ones I got off someone on here. The passenger was packed with mud around the connection. I tried to rinse/blow it out, but it was still jammed in there. After 30 minutes of frustration I ended up breaking the clip that holds the bulb in. I ordered this pigtail as it was supposed to be a replacement for the plug. After getting it I figured what the hell it isn't raining this afternoon I'll take the 30 seconds to switch them out. My issue is that the tie in is way too short. There isn't a plug anywhere close that this pigtail would plug into. I'm not opposed to cutting and splicing, but would like to know that I have the right one first. It says for H11 bulb. Any help would be extremely appreciated.

Yes, stock fog light bulbs are H 11 - if that's what you're asking for.
If not, I'll just go back in my corner

I am trying to figure out if this is supposed to plug in and be good or if I need to cut the one end and splice it into my existing harness. I hate not being mechanically inclined or having experience to draw on. From what I can tell the bulb side is correct, and should work if I cut and splice. The inexperience in electrical tells me that if it should plug in, then I may have the wrong part number and should look for one that has long leads between the plugs. It is driving me nuts that it isn't working though.

Never mind, I did misunderstand your question before.

From my point of view, short of going to a dealership and ordering actual replacement part, cutting and splicing in might be the only option

I had 285/75/17s on my Dodge and put 47k on em before I traded it in, they are an awesome tire and work really well in various conditions, except maybe deep soupy mud.

Trying to help here, but I think I'm misunderstanding something.

You broke the clip that holds the bulb on the wire side, correct? Sounds to me like you're trying to fix that.

As far as I can tell, the part that you linked looks like it's an extension of your foglight wiring harness. It would plug in where the bulb normally goes and extend the harness however long the part you linked is, about 8 or 10 inches it looks like.

From my experience with my truck, a 2009 with factory fog light wiring, there is no other connection in the line between bulb and power source, at least that I could see within a 2 foot distance...

I am no longer using my factory fog lights, since my front bumper does not accommodate fog lights. Instead, I am running a light bar behind my grille and 2 ditch lights. All of which are turned on and off by my factory fog light switch. I ordered a pair of harness pigtails from Amazon. One end plugs into the factory fog light wiring. The other end is 2 wire pigtails, one for the switched hot, one for ground. I spliced, soldered, and heat shrunk more wire onto the pigtails to reach the final destination of my lights, wherever they may be.

Hope this helps? Any questions, lemme know.
