    Meh go to your local tags place with a bill of sale already written up. Have you and him sign it and get it notorized should cost you $30 or so. No biggie then you at least have something. Can write on the bill of sale for parts only or something like that so they don’t question why you aren’t registering it

    Of course nobody heard your last sentence :rolleyes:

    If you really want to make it work kinda properly , you'd have to do a title search. I have never actually done it myself - never had to - but I bet there is a way to run a Vin and figure out if there is a lien on the title, and if so how much is it. But then again I might not know wth I'm talking about anyways... :anonymous:

    I saw it Gabbie already covered it though. Without transferring a title or applying for registration no one would have any idea were it is at anyway ;)

    I wouldn’t go too deep for a parts truck. Call a police freind or local police department ask them if it’s stolen if not buy it. Then part it out. Title searches and bonded titles can cost a lot of money for something you are gonna cut in half at some point anyway. As long as it’s not come up as stolen I’d go for it. And wouldn’t worry about it

    It's alright, I didn't mean anything bad by what I wrote, so I hope no one took it a wrong way... None the less I live ever so slightly North East of Philly, and around here things mentioned above are frowned upon. Sometimes I fcking hate it here, yet still I'm here:anonymous:
    When I looked it up, it directed me straight to NY dmv website, which might not help since you're in Commonwealth of PA, and vehicle in question might not have been registered in NY ( https://process.dmv.ny.gov/TitleStatus/ ). When I checked your DMV, it's not mobile friendly but it seems they want money to check it.

    @Blackout14 has it right.
    Bill of sale,signed and notorized
    If you know a 5.0 ask to run the vin for stolen.Problem if a PO runs a tag anymore he has to have a reason.
    i have purchased many cars with no title.

    Unless this vehicle is stored in a locked garage with no windows.

    If the bank really wanted it back they would have it. Not worth much with the transmission out the cost to replace or repair might have been more then the balance due.

    Depending how long it sat the title may be purged from the system 3 years last I heard I have been real good no new vehicles for a few years .

    I bought 2 parts vehicles 4x4 pick ups no titles no problems been 4 or 5 years

    After sometime welding all the processes are pretty much all alike

    The major difference is how the filler metal is added to the puddle( Ok Some Tig welds need no filler)

    You can`t have to many grinders the thing with the 4 1/2" if they don`t fit my hand I don`t buy them

    I have not used a grinding disc in quite some time since I started using the Ceramic Flap discs
