I rode for a bit yesterday afternoon, maybe 50 miles or so then called it quits....a hot one for sure. Looks like you had a good time though minus the burn

So...this might sound like a weird question, but would anyone in the Philly area with a 3rd gen be willing to let me plug in your BCM? I am trying to trouble shoot and I think its my BCM and I want to try and see if swapping fixed the problem before I drop $500 at the dealer. especially since I was told I cant return it if its the wrong part. You would have my eternal gratitude and some beer

Here is the other thread where I have had help trouble shooting.

No its this, I guess its also called the MPX body control, or the chassis control module.

It would involve removing the ECU..

Time at home to get ready/spend with the family is always good time. Unless, you hate sitting at home like me. I can do 2-3 days max, then i go a little crazy and need to get out and do something. I'm laid up with my back surgery though. The tornado and everything after didn't allow it to heal, so now I have to carry a pack around to help it heal, and can't do anything that would make me sweat a lot. I sweat like a pig, so that eliminates pretty much all my recreational activities. I have a million things that i would like to accomplish before vacation, but it is all on hold. Including working on the truck for the most part.

I'm usually the grin and bear it type. Which is why I am in the current situation. I was told to take it easy for 2 weeks after surgery. So i took a week off my second job. The tornado hit 3 days after, so I didn't have a choice but to clean it off the house. I still have some sitting in the back yard. Anyhow, i made 0 progress in healing in a months time. With the wound vac on I've made more progress in 2 days than I did in 2 weeks prior. It is just a really big pain in the ass to do anything. If the seal breaks I'm properly fucked and have to go to the ER. My wife luckily did them at her old job, so she can help and do a lot of the care and changing of dressings. It is still a huge pain, but it would be worse if she couldn't help as much as she does.

I think i have just finally hit old man status, just don't heal the way I used to. For the first time in my life i am just focusing on getting better, and everything else will come in due time. The issue is not getting things accomplished doesn't help my mental health at all! Sitting around looking at what needs done without getting it done it really frustrating.
