I have a 2017, I know they just extended the frame program to include some of the 17’s I believe. I bought my truck used but there was no service history on anything being applied. If FF washes off I guess I don’t see the harm in trying to protect with it even if the truck has the Toyota stuff done.

I will look look into the Amsoil product , thanks !

For me, def. I'm on the beach every week and then winter time is salt. I make sure to fluid film as much as possible, dialectric grease in the electronics and plugs, and sonax polymer net shield on the paint. 111,000 miles and everything still looks new..even the pine stripes I've got mostly buffed out.

I also pull the drain plugs on the bottom of the rockers and spray FF in there. As well as the inside bottom of the doors. Just to prevent it from rusting inside out. Get the Fluid Film spray wand off Amazon.

Just applied it to a major frame part for the first time. I just worked on the crash bar and wanted to protect the inside, as it was not heavily rusted, just a lot rust dust in there. You can follow along in my restoration thread.
