I don't know if any of you watch Lifestyle Overland, but I had the opportunity to have dinner with Kevin last night. Genuine guy with a super nice family. If you haven't checked them out on youtube, you should.

Yea. I had to remove that fender to be able to bend the bumper higher than what was needed in order for it to spring back to where I wanted it.

 

Atlas only chews on soft fluffy things.

Yup. We straightened @Manual man74 s rear bumper this way too. Works great.

Here’s Garrett giving it a tug. It ended up taking both of us to get it back to where it belonged.

I only welded it as much as I thought it needed to take the stress. Kept waiting for it to snap off and send us both sprawling lol, but all went well.

 

Driving back from my parents. Saw this.

 

Dang! That's a lot of weight!

Anyone local have the welding capabilities required?

 

2 tents and a camper.. seems overkill considering you can only fit 5 people in the truck.

some of those early 90's ones lead a charmed life... I've seen a few in really solid shape. The 80-89 beds rusted out if you just looked at them the wrong way...
