I was just going to ask the same thing, I get almost two years out of mine, switched to a lighter boot though, now that I am back on the street and not at the academy.

 

I wore Redwing 606 with the Urethene soles. They last a long time.

Best work boot ever. No contest. They are heavy but they are super comfortable and last.

 

Scary shit friends younger brother got into a nasty accident around noon today. Was stepped at a red light guy rear ended him doing 50mph was to busy looking at his phone. Both my friend brother and his passenger walked away. Thank god. Heavy back neck and head pain. But both are doing ok.

 

Yep, the ones I had were okay, the biggest problem was that every time I wore them my feet would somehow get so wet that my feet would start to prune. That and the leather toe instead of the rubber covered toe wore through to the safety toe in a couple days

 

At least they walked away

Going to Lowe's for some wood pellets. Can anybody quickly answer me about weight capacity? Anybody know how much a 2003 double cab short bed can carry in its bed?

I had 4 ton delivered for like $60 from a private company. They Pallet jacked them right into the garage, didn’t lift a finger other than to write the check.

 

This. I've rode the bumpstops with firewood many times before I went to dakar heavies.

The redwings I have now are comfortable. But they’re less than a year old and they’ve already started to come apart
