I'm not sure of the year, but my friend has a thunderbird with a power adder. I was thinking it was supercharged for some reason. It may also be from the early 90's. He basically bought it and has driven it a couple times. Shame. I could never be a car collector. I like driving them too much. That car would run away from my 03 mustang GT though like nothing.

That would be a Supercoupe (or also known as the Thunderbird SC). They made them from 1989 through 1995.
I came this close to buying a '95 with the 5-speed manual (fewer than 600 ever built) and somebody got there a few hours before I did and snatched it up. :pout:

Maybe it was him, that is exactly what he has, but has had it for about 10 years now.

It might have been! I think the car was near Butler, if I remember correctly. I think it had a special paint code from the factory known as "Mystichrome," which was kind of a purple/blue that would change in the sunlight. The clearcoat was shot on this car so it didn't really present well, but it was still a really cool machine.
That would be funny if it happened to be the same car.

I had a 02 GT. There wasn't much that wouldn't run away from that car. LOL.

Wish my truck did as well in the cold and you all say yours does... It definitely doesn't run as well as summer. Today was probably the coldest mornings I've run it and almost stalled it stopping for traffic at a rotary. More than likely it's the shit gas I put in it; the only easily available place is Sheetz or AC&T (which was my last fill).

Now my GTI loves the cold weather cause, yanno turbo, lol. It's a double edge sword though as I don't want to get it all filthy from the salt and slop.

In high school a buddy had a GMC Jimmy typhoon. I believe it was a 4.3 turbo Jimmy. All I know is that thing was a beast and fun as hell.

Not yet, it is only his second one, and the vet waited for blood work and another seizure before starting phenobarbital. It wasn't a full on grand mal. May start it now though.

My buddy has a 90 s10 pickup that we put a TPI 350, in 15 years ago.He bought wrecked typhoon to swap everything over to his pick up but never finished that part of it.
About 10 years ago I needed a car while mine was down and that S10 was my ride for 2 weeks. Wooo was it fun. Then I remember why I don’t own fast cars anymore. I can’t stay out of the throttle of a fast car. But a average car or truck I drive like an old lady.

All the talk about turbos and shit..in my younger years my friends cousin had a 1962 Chevy Impala station wagon(family car) with a 409 cin with dual quad carbs...4 speed manual trans. I never drove it, but was in ot when his cousin drove it and at the time it was HOLY SHIT fast... those were the good old days.
As for mileage on my Tacoma I have 86,573 miles and it is 12 years old (commute to work was 2.5 miles and retired now). :D
