    :annoyed:

I knocked the fuck out of my alignment, and turns out they can't align it, because my pass side bolts are "frozen".
    Fuck!

The difference between the two is elongated shoulder at the bottom. That allows for more thread engagement. I switched to those after finding that the shorter ones don't engage as much thread as I would have liked due to the thickness of the alloy wheel.

Alignment guy says that I need new bolts and bushings, or new control arm (pass side). From what I heard around here, might be easier to change the whole arm instead just bushings
Waiting for an estimate, we'll see.

That sucks. It's always something. If it has tits or tires you're going to have problems.

I have a random question for you other PA folks. What are your trucks weights registered at? I just looked at my registration and it's a class 1 5Klbs GVW. That's definitely not enough to tow anything, especially since I need to move a bunch of stuff from WV to my house. With my luck I don't want to get popped.

It is. I changed the bushings and it did not go well. Lots of fire, beers, choice words, and metal shavings. You're a 3rd gen though...that seems kind of early to be seized up.

That sucks. New control arms is easiest. I changed the bushings myself in a spare set I bought. It was a pain in the ass. I'm glad I bought a spare set as it would have taken my truck out of commission for a while.

That's what I was thinking too.

I knock the fuck out of my alignment every 6 months so this doesn't seem to be a problem for me..

Yeah, I'm glad you don't have a problem
On the other hand, I must have done it a little bit ago. Bad camber is wearing out inside of my pass side tire.

Yeah well, less than 34K on it, I'm a bit surprised and not way happy about it. But from what I understand, some 3rd genners had issues like that as well (I've been staying out of 3rd Gen forum, so I'm not up to date with all of it though). Nonetheless, I might have waited too long between wheeling and alignments (this was first one since June last year), or just shitty luck.

Anyways, I'll have to look up some prices, and start ordering.
What's general consensus on LCA, go stock, right? Not NAPA or equivalent

I'm surprised this isn't a more popular option. The only drawback I see is if you haul a trailer or lose clearance offroad. Looks good though. When are you going to return the favor and get the wifey one?

I'm putting on gusseted spindles and new upper BJs, hopefully before AOAA. Every other component up front is within one year old.
