Morning folks :hattip: have a good day and stay safe.
Wild life photos are good. Thanks for posting Liz. I see deer, fox, hawk (which one I don't know), turkey buzzards (ugly buggers) and the occasional crane stalking a meal in the retention ponds in my community. Never get tired of watching them.
On a sadder note, did you know the Ass't. Fire Chief in Tulleytown Liz? Died from the Covid-19, RIP Rick Johnson. :pray:for his family and fellow first responders.

I see them all the time too, figured it would be a nice change of pace. And yes, I did know the Ass't Chief. They've just lost another member I believe as well. It's hitting pretty close to home right now. We've been decontaminating every shift and in the middle of the platoons. We've had a Leo get it, it was on the news... but as far as I know, he's doing better. My volly department actually lost one too, but he was a member waaaaaay back in the day so I don't actually know him.

I use to get pictures of that all the time at my old job, it's rare to see them where I work now, but we do have a few floating around the township. Hell had one fly through my parkinglot I think it was last summer, he/she was a Juvy, getting chased by our crow gang. Some of the coolest moments quite honestly. I have video from the creek at work, a little mink playing in the snow about 5-10ft away from me, drops flat, I heard the wings over the creek, caught it swooping down and landing on a tree.

Be safe Liz. As a first responder you are at a greater risk than others. Take care and again....Be Safe.

Don't take comments so seriously. I'd rather see 83 billion pictures of birds than the same good mornings every day.

We had three juveniles here last fall - they were really fun to watch as they learned to hunt. Many mornings I'd look up on our back porch roof and see the three of them perched, looking out over the fields down towards our lake. I'm wondering if the one that's here now is one of those.

Be safe, Liz!! We are thankful for all you do!!

Love the wild life pics Liz, keep them coming. Also sorry for the loss of a fellow fire fighter. This goes without saying but I'm going to say it any way. PLEASE,PLEASE, stay safe and healthy. Thank you for all you do to protect and save other people who are in harms way. You are a very special woman and I and all the rest of us don't want to lose you. Miss you so much, even more so now because of the pandemic. Really looking forward to a taco meet up when it's safe.

Woke up today in my new house to the sounds of what sounded like a machine gun firing. It was a god damn Pileated Woodpecker whacking away on my chimney cap which is right above my room. Little bastard!

Anybody interested in these? I used to reload a lot, these are semi-wadcutters, I think. Thinking about getting into it again but, :spending:
