Speaking of alignments, anybody know any good alignment shops around? Last one I went to was in Camden and I’d rather not go back into Camden

Looks like I've burned up another washing machine... Second somewhat large load got done so I went downstairs to get it in the dryer. Smelled sorta like something burning? Hmm, opened the washer up and my clothes were soaking wet. Crap. Did a drain and spin, but it definitely wasn't happy. Sure enough the "burning" is coming from inside the washer, great. Decided to go for broke and threw in my big ass bed spread; if it's gonna go I want it to go out with a bang!:rofl:These modern washers are junk; I go through one about every 2 years and this will be 2 years for this one.

I'm not taking vacation again, been too damn expensive. $300 at the Toyota dealer, $200ish replacing my old Stihl weed-eater, and now this...

I've had a dry cough for 3 weeks, she hasn't shown any symptoms at all though. She's younger and doesn't get sick very often.

    Her sister is fully recovered.

Either buy the next to cheapest bare bones washer for $500 or get a speed queen.

Aren’t Maytags like the Toyota of washing machines? You just can’t break them?

Unfortunately new Speed Queen's are just as much garbage as any other nowadays. They went through model changes... for the worse. Old Speed Queen's, yes, new no...

I don't think so. Our previous washer was a Maytag and it was one of the biggest piles of crap we've owned. It got to the point of not getting the clothes spun out all the way. Finally stripped out the whole drive system, so we dropped it like it was hot. Our current GE has been progressively getting worse, so the end is near. I'm seriously debating seeing if I can find some commercial unit that came out of a laundromat...

They had the reputation (or maybe just the marketing) as being that way. They were bought out by Whirlpool and I'm not sure if that changed anything.

Most of the time it's all the fancy electronic shit that breaks, which is why the base line turn dial ones last longer than the ones with a TV built in.

Main floor is going to be same pattern - 12x24 instead of 2x2. Should be a little easier to put down.
