Mornin' fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!! Frost here in NEPA this morning.

 

I would have been turbo pissed if we got frost. All of my plants are up except the corn I just replanted.

 

I'd draw on it to make a smiley face.

 

Yeah. Lynn is not happy. We've probably lost some beans and tomato plants, at least.

I took this from or back porch at about 6AM - Lynn's garden is on the left.

 

Oh! I hate those jerks! They get into my bedroom this time of year due to fitting kinda through or around the window screens. Then they bite me under my sheets and wiggle away scaring the piss out of me and thinking I've got actual "bed bugs" till I find the little black jerk. I never knew those beetles had a name. Thanks for pointing that out.

We have two Home Depot stores closed in Philly today due to the riots/looting. Roosevelt Blvd & Port Richmond.

Don't know why that just reminded me of Mike Tyson's famous quote... something like "Everyone has a plan till they get punched in the face" or something like that.

Anyhow, hats off to TW for keeping my "situational awareness" open for that Stimulus payment coming via a VISA giftcard! I said that to my wife last week and literally the next day she got that in the mail and thought to throw it out as junkmail but remembered I mentioned about that!

Now I've been stimulated. Trouble is that the IRS didn't know to pay me for the extra child by adoption since last year's tax return! I got shafted $500. Anyone know how to get the ball rolling on getting my dough?

This is the reason I like living in a small town. No riots or looting. And you never see protests.

SIL just started back to work last Monday after being out for 2 months due to the covid. He got a call last night that his boss was shutting the job at Temple University down due to the protest/riot/looting. Glad I'm retired.
