Sliders, skids, plate bumpers, winch, coilovers, control arms, lights, battery upgrade, bigger tires, rims.. and that's just exterior. Then you have ovtune and his twin turbo setup coming soon-ish..

 

Ok ok... I know who the bad influence is around here! I have a list on Amazon I started creating that's up to 1800 bucks so far. Will be checking them off one by one as I can order them.

 

Haven't been to Rausch Creek yet. I wanted to go just to check out the green and maybe some blue trails with the stock equipment. However I read you needed a partner and unfortunately I got no buddies who have 4 wheel drive rigs that would want to go up there. My nephew has a YJ jeep and would go, but its gonna be in the shop for a while he needs major work done to it.

I am on a slow build cycle. Kings is on my list for that some day money that comes along.... Like that some long lost relative died day kind of money that just jumps into my bank account!

I thought I posted in this thread a while back but apparently that's not the case and I've just been creepin.

I'm south east of Pittsburgh. Mods are slowly coming in but its a balancing act between my Taco and the wife's TRD Pro 4runner.

 

Thats got to be some serious cash leaving your wallet dealing with two Toys

 

Pacing ourselves and prioritizing the mods. Gonna have these trucks for a long time and modding over that time will keep it interesting. It seems like a lot of people get a truck and drop $10k in mods in the first 18 months are the ones that get bored around year three and trade it in. I've had the Taco since April '17 and its nice to make little changes and improvements every couple months. Keeps things fresh, we're in this for the long haul.

I’ll add that I’ve had mine since I joined TW in 2010 and will keep it as long as possible.
it would be easier to list what’s stock than all the mods I’ve done.

 

I did that. I waited 3 years to put my lift on. Now the last couple of months I have gone a little over board but my truck is going on 4 years old.

 

Yeah, it adds up. I’ll just say that there’s a lot more knowledge on the 2nd gen now than there was 10 years ago. Hell, back then 35’s were a rarity.

We’ve come a long way.

 

And have a cap on the back end.....

So much more room for glamping supplies.

 

I never minded working third shift I just stayed on the same schedule 7 days a week.

The people that tried to switch to normal hours weekends were always cranky all the time.

I was never a big drinker so that was never a issue I do recall in the sixties when the Steel mills were going full bore so many bars opened at 0600 to get the after third shift crowd .

Food I kinda eat what I want when ever.

 

Caps make the loading with a crane real tricky and hauling loads higher then the cab real interesting.

Don’t bother counting how much you put into your truck. You will wonder why you didn’t just buy a wrecked one and rebuild it.

Haha I’ve maintained a college kid budget for most of the build. The key is to always be on the lookout lol
