Two steps closer to camping.

 

Any recommendations for a double wide sleeping bag.

 

When I was much younger, we would buy two "regular" sleeping bags and zip them together. Since they unzipped completely on 3 sides, this was easy. Not sure about "modern" bags, like the mummy (if they still use those...been a long time.... ) .

 

Here's what I used in the winter in WY and it was super warm. It's pretty big and bulky.

I paired it with a canvas bedroll to add snow/water resistance.

 

i was gonna recommend them same thing, @TOYTONKA mayne one day we can adventure to a few stores and see what’s what(I need a few more camping supplies). I don’t believe my mummy bag does that, I think if I recall it’s just one side zip now.

The thing I don`t like is the fact this model has cotton liners I tend to sweat when sleeping ending up with a damp cold sleeping bag.

If your in a place with heat most likely a bed and blankets are to be had.

Then those days are long past in my case.

Anybody ever seen these masked hunter bugs before? I’ve never seen one in my life and I just saw three today! The first one was at my house and the other two were at work...

What lake is this? Fiance's from that area and we're up there every now and then. Looks like a nice place and calm enough for the paddleboards.
