    ...speaking of predator bugs, they are thriving from a nice supply of (Chinese) food. i.e. Lantern flies. The mantas population seems to be up too. At least around here.

    it's a nice area, great for paddleboards and I believe a 20hp limit, though I've not once been swamped. People are pretty chill.

    Can get crowded on weekends.

    great for a midweek getaway
    fishing is tough.. 'the dead sea' if I remember correctly.
    there are some very nice fish, but a lot of pressure.

    3 Mile Run, opposite end, is also nice and chill.
    good amount of area where boats don't typically go.

    hope you get out there.

    I'd think twice PB'n out of the marina launch.

    Ha back in the day my moms husband bought a small fishing boat 25 hp motor.Was a bummed he needed to buy a new motor.I found the same motor in 20 hp took the cover and swapped it. i kept the boat for a week just so he thought i switched the motor.

    rumor mill says they released a bunch of Praying Mantis to help with the issue. Which I can believe given last week at work I politely relocated two from our fire truck in the parking lot to a safer area...
