I hope the vet comes up with something. It is tough to watch them age - they give us so much joy.

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!! Another quiet day ahead for me - still slugging down antibiotics but feeling a bit better. Stay safe out there and live it large (says the guy laying on his couch under a blanket).

I totally see your point, fact is I really like the 3rd gens. I drove a 2019 a while back and loved the way it drove, and while the trans did shift a little goofy it's still better than the A750 in my second gen (IMO). While a late 2.5 gen would be nice, I'm done with used vehicles. The past couple, including my 2009, have had alot issues from neglect that only reared their ugly head after a couple months. I still like my 09, but there's so many little things popping up (after spending thousands getting it back up to snuff) I can't keep up. Still not going to be one of those guys that swears off a brand because of it... Although I'm now on the fence about doing it, spending all Saturday at a dealer is definitely something I don't look forward to. Can't make up my silly mind. :annoyed:

EDIT: THIS is the truck I'm looking at. Another white 'yota, I'm going crazy

Younger Toyota? I drove a little further to Koon's in Westminster. Got a great deal on my 17 back then. I refuse to deal with Fitzgerald.

We've bought several cars from Younger and have had good luck with them. Recently it's where our '15 Camry and my Tacoma came from. Koon's is a little bit far for me to drive now-aday's. If I can't get something somewhat local I probably won't do it. The last 2.5hr trip to Springfield VA to get my GTI I swore I wouldn't do it again.

I do agree with the Fitzgerald comment. Last time I was there I was a little off put by the staff and the salesman gave me the Mr. Herbert from Family Guy vibe.

Agreed with the longer drive for you. It's not too hateful from my place. I take 16 through Waynesboro up over the mountain, turns into 240 I think in Md, run it right into Westminster. Added plus, we stop @ the Ott House in Emmetsburg on the way home.

Next time he has a seizure, give him some vanilla ice cream. The vanilla will calm down his system and help him recover better. We have had two dogs with epilepsy, and it really does work. It was recommended by our daughter who is a vet-tech. Hope he can have the meds. cause he can still have a good life!
