Sorry Man, I'm still not over my dog Block Head passing a year ago. He would have been 14 this year. Your Boxer looked like he was a good hound. RIP buddy.....

I may even have said can you give me a shot of the same to the vet that day .

Sorry for your loss. It’ll hurt for sometime... just tells us that we’re still alive... keep them fond memories and keep chugging along.

So nice out today I gave Ginger the Pavement Princess her final bath for the season. She won't see the road again untill March or April.

I gave mine a washing today, especially since they threw down cinders and salt a few days ago during a snowstorm.

Thought you guys might like to see my wash set up. The well water quality at the garage isn't stellar..

The cart is from Harbor Freight, the pressure washer a Sun Joe from Sam's Club for about $100. Plumbing is 3/4 PEX.

The filters are standard from any plumbing supply house, Lowe's, etc. The water goes in the (white) first filter at 40 micron, then 20 micron, finally 5 micron. The brass valve on top with the gray hose (old washing machine hose) is for purging the filters before use (water gets cruddy sitting in the filters) and then for filling up the wash mitt bucket.

That little Sun Joe pressure washer impresses me, probably wouldn't be satisfactory for farm equipment but it is just enough for washing cars and best of all quiet. I have a foam cannon, MATCC brand from $18 from Amazon.

There are no modifications to the pressure washer, it is held to the cart with a piece of #12 wire.

I wash the underside when I can as often as I can when we have penndot running around trying to make our frames and suspension rust!

A stupid question. I take mine to a manual wash and use the high pressure rinse to get up under it but I never feel as if I am getting the center of the underside. Any tricks to getting it done right? I focus on the wheel wells but feel as if I could do more.

Ok. I squatted. This is my first vehicle with all the bells and whistles. I take it those sensors and cameras don't mind a good washing?

Shouldn’t hurt anything by cleaning the underside or the top side

    Long shot:
Anyone have a set of high caster JBAs sitting around that they haven't installed yet? I've got my truck sitting on the lift half taken apart and realized that my kit only has the 4 washers for one side. I called JBA to source some since they are only about 45 minutes but due to Covid they aren't doing any in person pickups. I had to order from the website and get them shipped. I picked 2 day shipping but who knows how long it will take them to get here. If anyone has them sitting around, I'd take them off your hands and swap them out with a brand set once they come in.

I got a wand similar to this at Tractor Supply, the head pivots far enough back you can spray yourself :anonymous: if you aren't paying attention. Mine is probably 30 inches long or better so it reaches the inside of the frame, around spare tire, tank, etc quite well.

Well the time has come. At the vet now I'm gonna be putting him down. Very sad day for me and my family.

The fact that we (men) will cry for our pets just shows how much we care for them and most folks who will cry over a dog or cat tend to be pretty decent folks generally.
