Same with my family. Plus my parents make 'dumpings' also in place of dinner rolls. Love your positivity in last sentence!

Good morning PA:wave:. Some good college football yesterday. There's a couple on today and the national championship game on the 11th. Then a long stretch till next season:pout::pout:. I'm a big PSU fan but just love watching college football:thumbsup:

Morning Pa. Headed to my Boy's house to install new kitchen appliances this am. They received very nice production bonuses from work and turned the money into a new kitchen package. Hoping Logan remembers how we do these projects because I am not going to be able to do these things someday. My shoulder is aching bad this am, rain didn't help matters. This getting old thing ain't for sissys! Happy Saturday all!

I love the relationship we've established between our program at Lackawanna College and PSU. Jaquan Brisker really came into his own this year.

That's actually a smart thing to do, actually. Kitchens and baths sell homes!

Be safe Doug, don't over-do it! I'm only 31, but the years of walking/standing on concrete and now working in an industrial environment have been killer. Only a matter of time before I'll need to get my left knee re-done. Also the reason no more manual vehicles at the house :(

Good Morning PA Folks. Hope you all have recuperated after New Years Eve. A great day on tap as the temperature is going up to 50 today with the sun shining :D. Being retired gave my body a chance to recuperate a bit but past transgressions from my youth and work career are haunting me now. Shoulders (one rotator and tendon repaired) left knee in need of replacing and back issues (broken back from accident in 2019). Only positive is I can still get around and do most everything I need to (sometimes help from my son). I can relate to the aches and pains of life :(.
Have a good day and be safe out there.

I tried sauerkraut one time no amount of ketchup will make it taste good.

People eat strange things because they feel they should .

I love sauerkraut a buddy of mine makes some homemade that is great. Another one I love is sweet and sour red cabbage which is another german thing. I grew up eating all kinds of german and pa dutch food. I will say that some of it is definitely not for everyone. I got a buddy and his family is from New Jersey and Long Island and he's always saying your actually gonna eat that:rofl::rofl:Sweet-Sour-Red-Cabbage.png

Wife's family used to do pigs stomach. I could eat the potato and beef stuffing but that's it.

Had my frame inspected 6 months ago and it was fine. They look at it today and say it needs the goo spray :annoyed:

If your buddy and or his family like kielbasa, tell them to try the East Village Meat Market in the lower East side of Manhattan on 2nd Ave. It's Ukrainian and they make it on the premises. It is the best I have ever had. We take a trip up and buy several rings and freeze it in a seal-a-meal bag, let it thaw out and pop it in a pot of boiling water or put it on the BBQ. Damn I'm hungry now.

I cannot eat the kraut, texture thing, but love the pork cooked in it all day in a crock.

My boss makes kraut as a fund raiser for his scout troop every year. It is probably the best kraut I’ve had, flavor wise. I still can’t eat it. I buy like 10lbs to give to family for new year’s every year.

I'll let him know, his dad gets into the city sometimes. He might even know the place. He lives on long island in a town called East Quogue and there's some great places out there too
