When we are getting close to the Varrazzano that's what I always say, when in Rome do as the Romans do , we go up there a few times during the every summer. My buddies dad lives on Long Island in East Quogue. He has a boat dock out back with a 22' cuddy cab. We mostly fish Shinnecock Bay, some great fluke and stripers fishing up there. We go offshore but only a few miles to some wrecks. We don't venture to far in the little boat lol

 

Looks like a good time fishing. At least there is a lot less traffic .My Pop used to go out of Sheepshead Bay. When he took me fishing it was in the inlet behind Jones Beach, good for flounder. Those were the days.

Man, rough week. I'm sore.

Only 2 days off this week, picking up an extra day in exchange for 2, 3 day work weeks the next two weeks.

Both kids go back to "Hybrid" school schedule this week. This will be only the 5th time this school year that they have been in person learning. Going to be quiet around the house today.

 

My grandson who lives with me is supposed to go back on the 19th I hope. It's not that I mind helping him with his schoolwork. It's that he needs to get out of the house and live a normal life again. This isolation has been tough on him.

Interesting how one district does one thing, and another completely different. My boy has been in hybrid all year.

 

Anyone know what the difference is between the two spacers on spider trax website are all about? I wanna order spacers so that I can run bigger tires. I’m getting the 6112 kit with RXT leaf springs and I NEED new tires. And hoping to run 33s

 

Anyone happen have a parts coupon for any of the local dealers?

 

I have seen different schools in the same district do completely different things .

I feel real sorry for the Tech kids they got really screwed .

 

I avoid the Schukill Expressway at all costs. That is hands down the worst highway in this area.

 

Welcome to Friday fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!! Is it me or did this week seem to fly by?

Our road into the house is a friggin mess at this point - it's a township road and all dirt/gravel. The temps have consistently pushed up above freezing every day so with all the snow we have any place there is an incline is a wet, sloppy luge run of ruts. As much as I prefer warm weather, once it starts to snow I want it to stay below freezing until spring!

Pretty much any of them can go bad in a few seconds anymore.

I used to go down that way 4 nights a week in the wee hours for the most had no problems just took 95 S and 476 N on the return trip
