Woke up this morning, got out of bed, kicked dog bone.

Wide awake and bleeding is not how to start a day.

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!! Happy Sunday!!!

Not a good start, Adam! I prescribe coffee...lots of coffee.

I spent my day working on the Z3 yesterday - pretty much ready for the season now. Not bad for 25 years old.

Enjoy the day...looks to be a rainy one, though.

The rain has passed. It was heavy overnight and scared my poor little dog. We needed a good rain. The only downside is all the pollen has been stirred up by the rain.

That's why my truck is white; I've been on a white vehicle kick lately. Since 2016 its been my S10, then my 2nd gen Tacoma, now my 3rd gen Tacoma. Now the beater Talon I'm picking up is white

IMO silver is the best color to hide dirt. Precisely why I looked for that color when I was shopping for the FRS. :D

I have always purchased cheap vehicles that didn't need too much work to be reliable, color was never a factor. The Tacoma is the first one I actually picked the color.

I was going to buy a new 2019, found that Inferno had been discontinued, settled on (beautiful) Barcelona red. There were only 2 trucks in my configuration on the east coast, the nearest over 200 miles away - the dealer wouldn't do a trade and it would have been a logistic nightmare to go there.

Now bummed out with no truck to buy I was idly paging through some website and found exactly what I wanted 75 miles away, CPO with 12,000 miles -- I guess sometimes karma cuts you a break. :fingerscrossed:

Just thinking out loud here but wouldn't dirt color be the best color to hide dirt?

Yes, I had a 77 Buick that was almost Quicksand colored, I was always amazed when I washed it how dirty it was and how little you noticed.

Worthless historical footnote: My 77 was built in 76 and had the last of the "odd fire" 231 V6 engine, 77 introduced the "even fire" version.
With a loud muffler the odd fire sounded like a big V8 with a radical cam at an idle. It wasn't fast but sounded like it.

Found a little time yesterday to head to the cabin. The Factor made a great meal, steak, potatoes with onions and peppers with some "power greens" for her. We used the outside fire as it is getting a little warm for cooking inside. Got to use the "new" flint/steel/hemp match set. Worked great. Did a bunch more weeding of the plethora of pickers that we have and some lamp tuning of the Aladdin lamps. Fire inside in the evening. Perfect day in PA!
Took a couple pics on the way up as I was stopping frequently to clear debris.

Scored an awesome KitchenAid grill from Costco today. It was the display. $400 out the door! :D
