Happy Belated Birthday, Matt @Tatts521 !!!!!

Spent most of yesterday at the Equines For Freedom sporting clays fundraiser as a helper. Great organization - I was the board chair for several years - that provides free equine assisted EMDR therapy for vets and first responders with PTSD. They work totally free to the client - don't even make insurance claims - so fundraising is key.

Our contractor got the greenhouse roof repaired, the replacement skylight in and re-shingled - and also totally re-shingled the tractor garage yesterday. Progress.

Not sure what I'll do today - probably wash the truck and lay by the pool.

My daughter is throwing a surprise B-day party for the SIL so it's up to dear old Dad to get him out for the day . Heading down to Washington Ave. in Phila. to look at kitchen cabinets etc for the kitchen, Then get a bite at Johnnies Hots on Delaware Ave. Great hot sausage. After that, it's PARTY TIME.

Great picture Craig. The trail looks familiar, but can't place it. Have you thought about doing a Blog or Vlog on your travels with your wheel. It be interesting

 

Bought a ryobi cordless hedge trimmer because I got tired of repairing the cord! Makes for quick work BUT only if I keep up with it.... 3 times a year it should be trimmed. It’s about 6ft high about 40ft long :-/ 25 bushes I believe in all.

 

I have my whole damn crew here! It's a miracle!

Time to get nothing done because I have about 80 contractors on site..

I've been coming here on and off since 1999 and you never get used to it. I transferred here last July and the day I arrived it was 119 and the heat index was 127. Gonna' be another "fun" summer.

 

Good God.... 127 that's insane

 

One of my millwrights did welding in Dubai. He said it was so bad you didn't sweat so much as the humidity condensed on you.

 

I'm not built for any of that kinda of weather

 

I have that same baby pool. Amazingly every so often my 6 year old daughter wants me to fill it up for her instead of going to the in-laws house to swim in their in ground pool.
