I just pulled one off myself this morning, I checked myself when I came in but it might have rode in on Atlas.

I took the nuclear option and sprayed the wood line with permethrin again. I don't like to use it because it kills beneficial bugs but I had to do something. Picking up 1-2 a day in my own yard ain't okay.

I use that yard feed that kills ticks, ants, grubs, etc. it doesn’t get rid of all of them but it gets rid of most of them

The yard is fine for the most part, it's anywhere back against the woods that I have problems. I spray about a 6' wide ribbon around the perimeter and it seems to keep them out.

I try to be as targeted as possible and don't spray anything flowering.

Luckily my yard is mostly clover so the bees just go after that anyway.

We used to meet ups/ mid days on a regular basis. But Covid halted that.I am sure it will become a thing again.

Thank you everyone for the condolences.

Pre-Covid I would host “Taco Sunday” meets at my house on a quarterly basis (roughly)

been talking about scheduling another soon but have to clear it with the boss

funny you say that... I found two on me after the last time I mowed the lawn. First time in years that I had a tick on me. :notsure:

We stopped at dad's on the way home on Memorial Day and the ladder was out. Busted. He's 94. I swear I am going to hide those ladders. Cleaned the gutters while we were there...afterall the ladder was already up! My balance is not great so the Mrs/ was pretty nervous but whatcha gonna do?

Awesome. I would be happy to host one too if I'm ever home. Looking forward to meeting some folks once the world is a little calmer. Wrenching sessions are my favorite. I enjoy teaching and usually learn something new too.

Me too actually. Problem is my front coils and front bumper are both backordered/ later than originally expected so for now I have a shelf full of goodies I can't do anything with until all that stuff arrives. Hopefully before the end of June!

Had about 3 to 4 inches of water in the basement when I got home from work, guess its time I actually put in a correctly working sump pump. :frusty:
