When someone who is 15 years younger than me thats has no mechanical abilities what so ever screems in my face I'm nothing but a parts changer and never go the extra mile ever, keeping in mind I tore my achillies tendon 2 monthes ago and have been wearing a velcro boot up to my knee for the last three weeks and never missed a day of work or slacked in my duties. It was ethier quit or bash is skull in and go to prison for attempted murder. So I moved on. He is one of those people in life that you just don't waste your time on.

A journeyman machinist once asked me "Do you know why toolboxes have handles?"

"It makes em easier to load back into your truck on the way out the door."

I left a couple shops due to a major lack of professionalism as well.

I know other people that have worked for that company/family,and have never heard of a happy employee there. The problem i have with the auto repair industry is the Good guys/mechanics have to sift through the D-bag shops to find the few good/honest shops so everyone can be happy. The other problem is the honest shops have to be able to employ good mechanics and be able to pay them a competitive salary, while competing againt the shops that up sell people services they don't need.
Good luck Dennis you know i got my feelers out for you.

Nice ! What always seems to amaze me is these people don't understand or care what it takes to do what we do as auto and truck techs. I just don't understand the disrespect when you have someone who shows up every day works there ass off and makes you a ton of money that affords you live a life style to "keep up with the Jones's".

The working world seems to be full of assholes like that. I met quite a few in my working career. If my last boss wasn't such an asshole(putting it mildly) I could put a word in for you but he was the reason I left after 12 years:rolleyes:. Good luck in your job search.
