On the way back from Overland Expo in Flagstaff, AZ I went the northern route via I70. Day 1: Flagstaff, AZ to Denver, CO Day 2: Denver, CO to Indianapolis, IN Day 3: Indianapolis, IN to Harrisburg, PA. That second day was freaking brutal. I wasn't tired when I got to the rest area I was going to stay at, so I pushed on hoping to just crash at the next one. But the next one was closed. So I had to push on for quite a bit longer until I reached one that was open.

    Have a safe trip man!

We lost @Firebird to the road as well. I've lost track of that guy. He "moved" to Colorado, but last I heard he's literally living out of his truck on the road, traveling throughout the west/south-west.

This is how I am going to CO for Rock Therapy. Two 14 hour days on the road. Not really by choice, just kinda needs to happen that way.

Jealous. My taxes alone are over $600 per mortgage payment. #jerseylife

Mine includes taxes as well. Living in Harrisburg ain't that bad. School district sucks, but my daughter is already an adult. Close to everything as far as day trips (Pittsburgh, Philly, NY, DC, Baltimore). Appalachian Trail is 20 minutes away. Easy to know everyone, including city council and the Mayor. Just doesn't have any of the benefits of a big city like Philly. Yet still has the problems of a city, occasional crime.

What're you looking for, when are you looking to move, how much are you looking to pay? Do you want roommates or a place to yourself? How far from the city?

I looked back and saw the looking for and the cost. If you let me know the other two I might have something for you. And if I don't I can figure out someone that does.

Kinda got stuck. FYI. Emergency services doesn't pay very well.

Trying to buy is better then finding a place to rent any way. Working on that currently

I would prefer a 2 bedroom if possible, 1 bath is fine, pretty open to area as long as it is within 30 minutes of Pittsburgh, can move pretty much immediately, really need short term (2 months would be great with option for additional months), and would like to keep it all in under $1000. Might be a tall order but it is what it is. Thanks!

Buck's Co is just as expensive as Jersey. In fact the part of Jersey I moved into is actually cheaper than Buck's Co. Barely, but still cheaper. Ideally I'd love to live in between Washington's Crossing and Yardley but that's almost as bad as Hopewell.

I'm shocked at the prices in Morrisville. I was hoping to move back to my home town. But at this rate, I'm gonna stay put where I'm at. Just gotta save up a good chunk of change

I'm at $450 which is pretty cheap for a college town full of slumlords that charge $2000+ per student per semester

Jeez, apartments are getting way up there. I'm especially surprised to see Hatfield so expensive. I lived in Telford for 7 years, my condo mortgage was around $900/mo (not incl taxes) ... figured it was generally a cheap area.

My last apt (2005-2006)was 1bdr in Levittown and about $825/mo. Before that I had a shitty $585/mo studio in Bensalem(2003-2005). Had good size townhome style apt with roommates back in 2000 for about $1200/mo.
